Fire and ice: Cryomancer and Fire Tree

On 30 Oct 2026 the studio wrote that watching the Cryomancer and the Fire Tree turret together, ice and fire at once, was the pleasant version of a defense, with coins coming in. That is the pairing this page is allowed to recommend. I am not attaching a damage number to it. Creator videos show combat, and their personal rankings stay opinions.

Who is actually in the pair

• Cryomancer is an ice hero on the named list. The row's effect text comes from public guides plus the fact the studio used the name in that post.
• Fire Tree is a turret, not a hero. It is on the turret table. The same post is the effect we can quote: it participates in the ice-and-fire picture. A resistance formula is not in the post, so I will not invent "minus 30 percent resist" or any other figure.
• Other fire names (Pyromaniac, Flame Aide, Ember Mage, Flame Gun, Forger) and other ice names (Ice Captain, Dragon Mom, Frost Gun, Ice Spike Gun) exist as rows. Being the same element is not the same as being in this combo. They are optional names, each with its own source count.

How to field it without inventing a rotation

Put Cryomancer in a hero slot and Fire Tree in a turret slot. The 29 Oct post says placement does not have to be perfect. Leave Solar Turret off if you want the easier version of the wave. The talent-board tip on a store screenshot rewards having at least one physical hero beside an elemental one. A physical name such as Moon Blade or Markswoman can fill that tip. I have not seen a post that says the physical hero must be one of those two.

An epic weapon screenshot shows a Frozen Spikes line next to crit and rend affixes. That is one item, priced at 50,000 gold on that screen. It supports the idea that ice shows up on gear text. It is not a required piece of this build, and I do not know the drop.
