Guides
These guides answer the questions the store page leaves open: what you do in the first waves, how elements are described by the developers, and which systems exist because a news post named them. They do not rank heroes with a letter grade. The tier page explains why.

The loop, in one paragraph
You defend a castle on the left while waves arrive from the right. Heroes stand on the wall. Turrets and cannons are separate roster tabs. A captain is another tab. The mine produces gold and diamonds on a screenshot that also shows upgrade costs in gold and blueprints. Talents are a multi-page board. When a wave sticks, the 31 Oct post says to farm rift bosses and forge gear. Auto Battle is a button the studio advertised, and a Boss Key hides the window. None of that requires a second player. The store lists single-player only.

Placement is intentionally loose. The 29 Oct post says you should not restart because a turret is half a tile off. I treat that as the design pitch, not as a measured range table. Ranges were patched once: the 2 Oct demo note fixed basic attacks whose range did not match their text.
Questions
Where should a new player start?
The beginner guide, then the hero table if a name on your bar is unfamiliar. The fire-and-ice page is the one pairing the studio described before launch.
Do these guides assume the demo?
No. The demo is closed. Notes say when a fact comes from a demo-week post, and whether the full-game news changed it.
